Eligibility & Domicile
Academic Eligibility
- Must have completed 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Minimum Marks
- General (OC): 50%
- BC / SC / ST: 40%
- OC-PH: 45%

- Minimum 17 years as per NEET norms
Local Candidate Requirement
What is a Local Candidate
- A local candidate is a student who belongs to Telangana based on study or residence criteria defined by the state
Who is considered a Local Candidate
- Candidates who studied for at least 4 consecutive years in Telangana between Class 6 and Intermediate (10+2)
- If study proof is not available, candidates who have lived in Telangana for at least 7 years
Why Local Status is Important
- 85% seats are reserved for local candidates
- Only 15% seats are available for non-local candidates
Who is a Non-Local Candidate
- Candidates who do not meet Telangana study or residence criteria
- Eligible only for 15% unreserved seats

Fee Structure
Fee Structure

Government Colleges
- Very low tuition fees
- Highly subsidized by the Government
- Suitable for merit-based candidates
Private Colleges (Category-A Seats)
- Moderate fee structure
- Fixed by the Telangana State Fee Regulatory Committee
- Lower than Management and NRI quota fees
Fee Payment Process
- Fees must be paid within the specified counselling timeline
- Payment is usually done annually
- Failure to pay fees may result in cancellation of admission
Important Fee Conditions
- Fees once paid are subject to refund rules as per guidelines
- Discontinuation after joining may lead to penalty
- Candidates must submit a fee undertaking/bond at the time of admission

Discontinuation Penalty
- Discontinuation of course after joining will attract a penalty

Free Exit Policy
- Free exit is allowed in initial counselling phases
- No penalty if candidate withdraws within permitted stage
- Penalty applies after final phase of counselling
Bond Requirement
- Candidate and parent must sign admission bond
- Bond includes agreement on fee payment and course completion
- Legally binding document at the time of admission
Debarment Rule
- Candidate may be debarred from counselling for up to 3 years
- Applicable in case of improper discontinuation or rule violation
Document Verification
- All certificates are subject to strict verification
- Submission of false documents leads to cancellation of admission
- Legal action may be taken against the candidate
